  • Teri Hughes, President & Owner

  • Thomas Hughes, Founder & Consultant

Teri Hughes is the Co-Founder and owner of Bartram Trail Surveying, Inc. She has over 20 years of experience in the field and is well versed in the drafting department. Teri exercises a myriad of talents as president of the company. She continues to have her finger on the pulse of the company, as she oversees the day to day operations.

Thomas Hughes is a registered Florida Land Surveyor with over 50 years of experience in all aspects of the field. Formerly, he served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force and later earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with a focus in Mathematics. Prior to his crucial role as Consultant and Founder of Bartram Trail Surveying, Thomas was the construction manager at Eagle Harbor for six years, with his primary duties being supervising contracts, field inspections, and quality control. He was able to ensure the best product for Eagle Harbor in residential and commercial projects. In the past, Thomas has directed construction of US 17 to six lanes and CR220 to four lanes. Prior to opening Bartram Trail Surveying, Inc., Thomas held ownership and operations positions in two large surveying and engineering firms in southwest Florida area.

 

  • Adam Desguin, COO

    Adam is our team’s Chief Operating Officer since 2005, with over 20 total years of experience in the field. Adam has committed many of these trained years to Bartram Trail Surveying, Inc. He possesses a unique insight into the organization’s functionality, can assist with both residential and commercial project management interests, and proposal corroborations. Typically Adam’s tasks are centered around product-based planning, collaboration, and communication with superintendents or company officers as well as clientele to provide customers a comprehensive product.

  • John "Steve" Adams, P.L.S.

    Steve is a registered Florida Land Surveyor and functions as a Project Surveyor. He is responsible for all surveying, research, calculations (including survey network adjustment by least squares method), boundary analysis, preparation of legal descriptions, FEMA complications drafting, and QA/QC activities for the projects that he has charge. In the past, Mr. Adams also played major roles in the St. Augustine Marina dredging project and Buggy Whip Trail to name a few of his many successes. With over 43 years of experience in the field, Steve provides end-to-end reliable and detail oriented surveying experiences to our clients.

  • Nes Bolante, Technology Manager

    Nes has been with Bartram Trail Surveying, Inc. since 2016 and is the manager of Information Technolgy and the UAS Division. He has a Bachelors of Science in Electronics and Data Communications Engineering, in addition has numerous certifications such as ComTIA A+, IAAO course 600, ArcIMS, and FAA Licensure with a remote pilot rating. Previously, he has been an Information Systems Coordinator for the City of Jacksonville as a contractor and has been working in GIS since the early 2000s. Nes brings valuable talent to the Bartram Trail Surveying, Inc. with his diverse technological perspective allowing him to produce systematic and comprehensive deliverables in service to our clients.

  • Maggie Baker, Director of Special Operations

    Maggie is our Director of Special Operations and a residential drafter. She is an astute problem solver, always enthusiastic to assist clients with any questions that could arise during an operation. Maggie’s unique expertise in site plan analysis contributes to her 18 years of experience, and has granted her exclusive proficiency into data translation within company infrastructure, and an unmatched intuition into our official documentation.

  • David Gates, Senior Drafter, Lot Fit Analyst

    David is a senior drafter having started with the company in January of 2007. He has an Associates in Arts degree from SJRSC with emphasis on architectural drafting. David oversees the day by day operations of lot fits, where the determination of a house(s) fits on a single lot or entire communities is judged. In addition to drafting, David also determines setbacks, verifies flood zones, and assists in key details for everything from Boundary and Topographic Surveys to Site Plans.

  • Lynsie Smallwood, Office Manager

    Lynsie is the Front Office Manager, where scheduling, invoicing, and client customer service are primary daily functions. Lynsie has been a vital asset as she handles almost all aspects of our organization, ranging from overseeing scheduling to residential billing, among other major duties within the company. Having dedicated over 14 years to Bartram Trail Surveying, Lynsie has a keen eye to the inner workings of this agency’s functionality, and can assist our patrons with any request.

  • Chad Guest, Field Crew Supervisor

    With 17 years of experience in the field, Chad is the Field Crew Supervisor here where management, scheduling of field crew, and project coordination is a main operation. Chad is crucial in the communication circle between field and office personnel, and acts also as a liaison between superintendents and crew, to name a few of his many proficiencies. Chad’s commitment to the organization pledges to clientele a candid schedule, definite calculations, and an expeditious turn over time in terms of project completion.

  • Paul Tudor, Field Crew Supervisor

    Paul is a Field Crew Supervisor, with over 20 years of versatile experiences in the field. He has earned a Scuba Diving Certification, which has afforded him a well-rounded nature when tackling field projects. In the past, Paul has contributed to the clearing of hundreds of miles of Florida Everglades, making him one of our most efficient line cutters. Routinely, Paul uses his convergent skills to assist clients and crew with escalating or intricate complications that occur before and during projects.
