Candidates must be knowledgeable and have experience in various surveying tasks. Tasks will include but not limited to, boundary, topographical, ALTA, residential/commercial, legal sketches & descriptions, as-built/record, bathymetric, and other various types of surveys. Candidates will oversee & manage various surveying tasks to meet project requirements a nd/or specifications. Candidates must have good organization and communication skills. They also must have a valid diver’s license & credible references

    Requirements or qualifications need to include:

    -Florida License in Surveying & Mapping

    -2 years experience Post Licensure

    -Successful history of managing projects

    -Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3d

    -Extensive technical knowledge (GPS, Data Collection, and CAD mapping)

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    -Experience with Various Survey Tasks, i.e. Platting/Land Development, Residential & Commercial Construction, ALTA, As-built, Boundary, Bathymetric/Hydrographic, Civil Construction, Environmental, and Topographic Surveys.

  • Bartram Trail Surveying seeking a full-time field crew rodman, instrument person. Position is full-time, 40 hours per week required. Candidate must work well in a fast-paced environment, be able to multitask, set priorities, be a self-starter, get things done accurately and on time, and have a positive relationship with clients, customers and other employees.

    KEY SKILLS-

    Performs professional level technical work using computerized drafting and drawing systems.

    Work is performed with independence under the minimal supervision of the assigned supervisor. Performance is evaluated based on accuracy, technical knowledge demonstrated, and achievement of desired results in completing drafting projects.

    Prepares design drawing and specifications of survey, and mapping projects.

    Creates computerized drawing files and plots. Draws line types, arcs, curves and texts on drawings to complete intermediate level plan and profile type drawings and compiles automated drawings from field notes, sketches or other automated outputs. Accurately replicates dimensions, angles and other precise measurements and specifications.

    Automation of design specifications, drawings and diagrams related to plans, field surveying, construction inspection, field data collection and engineering computations, etc.

    This work includes using computer plotters and symbol sets in the drafting process.

    Platting subdivisions and everything from performing surveys for Residential Construction/Mortgage, ALTA, As-built, Boundary, Bathymetric/Hydrographic, Construction, Development, Environmental, Residential/Commercial, and Topographic Surveys.

    Applies knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, geometry and computer software in performing basic engineering and survey computations.

    Act as a team player, fulfilling your own responsibilities and supporting others as needed to help the team meet deadlines and complete tasks

    Understand legal descriptions terminology

    FEMA Elevation Certificate Experience a PLUS!!

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED-

    Graduation from high school or equivalent

    1-2 years of computerized design and drafting experience; or a relevant education or training.

    Auto CAD 3D experience preferred.
